So we went to Target the other day and you should know by now that I LOVE scarves and I really love the floral fabrics that are coming out now. Paying $12 for a scarf is totally out of the question for me so I decided to make my own. We went to Goodwill Clearance and I picked up a few granny skirts to refashion and this was the one I wanted to use for a scarf.
Isn't the fabric gorgeous!
This is the finished result. I just cut the skirt into four long strips, sewed them together, basted it, and then sewed over it so I would have a ruffled appearance. I really like how it turned out!
