I Hang My Head in Shame!!!

Anyways these are my days 11 and 12 because my besties forced me to go running all day yesterday inbetween church (not really, I love them and wanted to go running:)

Rule Breaker!! Day 11/30

Before I start I would like to apologize for my rule breaking spree, really I don't mean to break so many of the rules, it just happens. Today I wore something else off list well too things but one was my boots which I had already worn so those don't count, but my amazing grandma made all of her amazing granddaughters valentine tee shirts so I had to wear mine! I also wore my boots because the snow hasn't melted yet and if I wore my other shoes my feet would get wet and cold and eventually frostbitten and then they would have to be amputated by the doctor. (this is the explanation we gave my cousin Brock when he wanted to know why he couldn't play outside in his sneakers) Oh yeah I also wanted to apologise for not putting any outfits up yesterday but I spent the day in a snowsuit going off snow ramps and breaking my kneecaps on the ramps.(not really, it just looks and feels like it)

She wanted her picture on my blog

I am wearing a V-day shirt my gogi made, an Energie sweater, J. Crew jeans, legwarmers, and Walmart boots (still super wet)
If you want to see all of our shirts go here to my gogi's blog

You Again Day 8/30

Picture problems again. ( by the way that movie looks awesome) I went outside, braved the freezing cold, brought a cute chair some props, my little brother, we took some pictures that I thought would be turn out good and they didn't. I was using my dads camera as our batteries were [still] dead so maybe that was it but they were totally white. I don't know why he wouldn't look at the pictures but he did consent to retake them, I did stay inside because it was freeezing (I would know, I had just spent two hours playing soccer in leggings, shorts, Under Armor, and a tee shirt) but I had liked my location. A lot. You're getting legwarmers again. Aunt Charity, I don't know if you'll get them back anytime soon, maybe next winter.

Top:Madison Jacket:Old Navy Jeans:Paris Blues Belt:Rue21 Tank:Charlotte Russe Shoes:none(but if I were wearing shoes they would be the J. C. Pennys)

Guest Post and Day 7/30

Today, the beautiful Miss Ramsey came over to tell us about how she dresses cutely and comfortably at the same time, she said I could steal some pictures so I picked out my favorite outfits, for more adorableness head on over to Love, Ramsey

Hello guys! Ramsey here from Love, Ramsey. Haley asked me to chill here for a bit today and chat about how to dress comfortable but still cute. So here I am, who brought the coffee and doughnuts? I kid. But no really, if someone around here does have coffee and doughnuts, don’t hold out on me.

For my style, I tend to gather inspiration from magazines and celebrities and such, but tone them down to a level that I can wear every day.

First, shoes are rather important. Buy comfortable heels. Your feet will thank you. In fact, they will probably hop right up and kiss you on the mouth. Not that you would want that. So buy comfortable heels and wash your feet before any kissing can go down. I don’t mean that you have to spend bookoodles of dough or buy granny shoes, just steer away from sky scrapers and narrow heels if you plan on wearing them all day.

Next, you should dress comfortable for your budget. Don’t spend more than you are comfortable with. There is no need (albeit there is often a want, but that is not what we are here to discuss) to buy every new collection just to have a great outfit. Rearrange your closet so that you can see what you’ve got and now that it looks all sparkly and new because it is clean and organized, pretend it’s your most favorite store and shop away. In fact, you can even hire yourself as a personal shopping consultant. I pay myself in Oreos. When you must buy, invest in a few good pieces that will never go out of style and buy the trendier stuff from cheaper stores. That way, you get your money’s worth.

Dressing comfortable for the weather means layers. Like an onion baby. Ok, I stole that one from Shrek. But seriously guys, layer it on and don’t be afraid to try new color and pattern combinations. If it doesn’t work out, there is always tomorrow my friends!

Finally, you should dress comfortably for your values. I personally prefer to be more conservative than most high fashion mags. You can definitely pull of an awesome look without being too exposing. Add tights with something a little short or a scarf over a low neckline.

I hope this was beneficial to you guys. If not, well, just don’t tell me and I’ll never be any the wiser. Thank you Haley for inviting me over! But next time, somebody seriously better bring some snackage.

Love,

Ramsey

After two photographers, (one of which was coatless and shoeless, Note to Self:Rachael is not the best choice of photographer) four bad pictures, dead batteries, no batteries and freezing cold feet and arms here is my legwarmer outfit...tada

I had typed out a script of how my photoshoot went but my moms computer erased my whole post so you got the abridged version above...very abridged:(

I am wearing Faded Glory jeggings, Sans Souci tunic, J.C. Penny's shoes, my legwarmers are borrowed from my aunt because she wanted to see how to wear them, I have an assortment of bracelets on, a Rue21 necklace and an Italian necklace (fancy huh)

Day 6/30

This is what I wore to church this morning and if I were a good blogger I would take some of my outfit this afternoon but at this point I'm in pajamas sooo... I dragged my little bro to the field behind our house to take my pictures. I kinda felt like someone in an Anthropologie
ad...I wish=)

I am wearing a Mossimo dress, Charlotte Russe tights and a handmade headband.
Ramsey from love, Ramsey has agreed to do a guest post on dressing cute and casual at the same time, it should be really neat!

Day 5/30

I decided to stay at my grandmothers an extra day so as soon as I got home a got an outfit together and got my little sister to take some pictures for me and for a six year old she did an amazing job!!! Oh and by the way I broke my vows today...my aunt and grandma took me to Goodwill and I said I was just going to look for a dress for the Princess party (a sweet lady from our church throws a princess tea party every Febuary and we dress up in prom dresses) and then I was looking for shirts for my mother because she needed some new ones, then I found an ADORABLE Forever21 shirt that I HAD to get, I'm sure you know the feeling. Then I went to the clearence center to get shirts for some burnt edges circle flowers and found an adorable grey shirt and a tunic BUT I am going to make a skirt for one of my sisters as the tunic looks odd on me so it doesn't really count:)

Yeah, I know, my pants are short but its hard to find clothing long enough for my legs and arms so just live with it.

I'm wearing Sonoma cargos, a Gap thermal and a Rue21 scarf and my J.C. Penny shoes.

This is one of the flowers I made today, I put an elastic loop on the back so it can go on bobby pins, headbands, or hairbands.
My aunt asked me to do an outfit with some legwarmers so Monday I should have that up.
Come again soon, like tomorrow!!

More Fuzz: Day 4/30

It fuzzed about an inch this morning (if you haven't noticed fuzzed is my new favorite word, that and rain droplets) I wanted to get pictures while it was still fuzzing but I was too lazy to do it and when I finally got out there it was sleeting so my photographer had to work fast.
I am wearing my Paris Blues jeans, Sans Souci tunic, Energie cardigan, Rocketdog Sneakers, and a thirfted scarf

Do ya love my new lunch bag???
M
Me too! I got it last night at Hobby Lobby for 2.99!

Come back tomorrow!!!

You can't see it in the pictures but its spitting snowballs out if the sky...yes I'm for real you can see them in the pictures below it was snowballing:) I have to tell you about my little cousin, it was flurrying when I first got here and and someone said "it's snowing" she replied "it's not snowing, it's fuzzing" CUTIE!!! My bcfl (best cousin for life:) took my pictures and did a great job!
